前陣子接到某期刊主編寄出中英文並陳的催稿信，請於15日內將論文擲回！緊張死我了，緊急趕稿，快馬加鞭，壓力山大，晚上都會做惡夢。終於，在截稿日當天寫完了。找出原信件要回覆，才發現是請擲回「題目」，「全文」還有一個半月才要交......。

這件事無意間教導了我催稿的技巧，就是要不斷透過各種時間截止日的提醒，來增加作者的壓力，由於拖稿是多數學者的常態，包括我也是這樣，所以在擔任主編或編輯時，總要想出一些策略，合理又不激烈的給作者一些正向的壓力，作者就會展現出無比的潛力，雖然，那對作者來說真的很累人啊。
